Strong Bike Leg Anchors a Solid Sprint Finish Lynnae Tumanuvao turned in a well-rounded sprint triathlon performance, highlighted by a bike leg that averaged roughly 13.6 mph over the course, a clear strength in her race. She exited the swim in the middle of the pack and used the bike split to move up significantly, climbing from the 340s to the low 290s overall at one point during the ride before settling into 336th by T2. The run proved to be the toughest leg, with pacing slowing progressively over the final miles, dropping her back to 352nd overall by the finish. T1 also ran a bit long relative to other transitions, suggesting an area to tighten up. Overall, a balanced day with a clear bike strength to build on, and an opportunity to focus on run pacing and quicker transitions for future races.
