Steady Effort Marks a Shift to a More Relaxed Pace Jett completed the Olympic-distance event in 3:54:44, finishing in the non-competitive division after previously racing competitively in 2024, where he posted a faster 3:16:23. The swim was covered in 24:01, followed by a bike leg completed at an average pace of roughly 12.5 mph. The run closed things out at just under a 14:30 per mile average, reflecting a consistent, controlled effort across the back half of the race. A standout moment came during the middle bike segment, where Jett clicked off a 22:06 split over 5.6 milesan efficient pace that stood out as his strongest stretch of the day. Transitions were quick, with T2 taking under two minutes.
