A Solid Finish with Transition Time to Trim Kevin Yuill completed the 2026 Spudman Sprint Triathlon in 2:43:12, placing 427th overall out of 570 and 34th in the competitive 40-49 age group. His bike leg covered roughly 12.45 miles at an efficient 11.5 mph average, showing strong, steady power output on two wheels. The run leg, just over three miles, was completed at a controlled pace, closing out a well-managed effort across all three disciplines. Compared to his 2022 Spudman result of 2:22:59, this year's race came in about 20 minutes slower, with T1 standing out as an area to sharpen13:37 spent in transition was notably longer than his brisk 5:05 T2. Tightening that first transition could be a simple way to shave meaningful time off future results while building on the endurance and consistency he already shows on the bike and run.
