Consistent Effort Marked by a Strong Mid-Bike Push Ashley Tolman returned to Spudman for a second consecutive year, finishing the Sprint Triathlon in 2:28:35, a slight step back from her 2:23:16 finish in 2025. She placed 394th overall and 203rd among female competitors, holding steady in the same general range as her previous outing. The bike leg stood out as a bright spot, where Ashley averaged roughly 11.3 mph over the course. A notable surge came during the middle portion of the ride, where she climbed to 92nd among women and 24th in her divisionwell ahead of her overall pace for the day. Transitions were efficient, with T1 and T2 combined taking under nine minutes. Moving forward, finding ways to carry that mid-bike intensity into the swim and run legs could help her build on this year's steady, experienced performance at Spudman.
