Steady Bike Split Fuels a Strong Overall Finish Tyson Tolman posted a 1:56:14 finish, highlighted by a strong bike leg where he averaged roughly 16.6 mph over the 13.17-mile course, moving him up to 217th overall by T2 after starting in 372nd following the swim. His swim and transitions were solid contributors to his overall pacing, while his run helped him close out the race with a top-200 overall finish (208th) and 27th in his 30-39 age group. Compared to his 2025 Spudman performance, Tolman's time was just over a minute slower (1:56:14 vs. 1:55:09), though he actually improved his overall placement from 230th to 208th, showing solid competitive positioning within a tightened field. His bike segment remains a clear strength continuing to build overall run pacing could help him close the gap even further in future races.
