Strong Bike Surge Powers a Solid Sprint Finish Jessica Erickson turned in a well-rounded sprint triathlon performance, finishing in 2:04:02 and climbing as high as 147th overall during the bike leg her best positioning of the day. That bike segment, covering just over 12 miles, was ridden at a strong pace of roughly 13.1 mph, showing solid power on two wheels. Her transitions were efficient, especially a swift 2:45 T2, and she carried steady effort into the run to close out the race. While her overall place settled at 274th, the mid-race bike surge stands out as the highlight of her day. Building more consistency between the swim and run legs could help her carry that bike-leg momentum through to the finish line in future races.
