Strong Bike Split Powers Solid Age-Group Finish Sean Hoffman completed the Olympic-distance course in 2:33:46, finishing 97th overall out of 1,987 and 7th in the 40-44 age group. His swim came in at 25:16, followed by a quick transition into a bike leg that stood out as the highlight of his day24.39 miles covered in 1:08:57, averaging roughly 21.2 mph. That bike split moved him up significantly in the field, climbing from 866th after the swim to 107th by the end of the ride. The run leg covered 6.21 miles in 54:57, holding his position in the overall standings through the finish. Transitions were efficient, with T1 in 2:39 and T2 in just 1:59. Sean's bike performance was clearly the strongest segment of his race, and building similar consistency in the swim could help him climb even higher in future results.
