A Resilient Finish Despite a Tougher Day Aubrey Livas completed her second consecutive Spudman Sprint Triathlon, crossing the line in 2:15:48. Her bike leg stood out, where she averaged roughly 13.2 mph over the 12.45-mile course a solid, steady effort that kept her moving efficiently through the middle portion of the race. The transitions were quick and controlled, showing good race-day organization even as fatigue likely set in during the run. Compared to her 2025 performance, where she finished in 2:06:29, this year's result came in about nine minutes slower, with her overall placement shifting from 304th to 353rd out of 570 finishers. This suggests the run and swim segments may be areas to target in training moving forward, as maintaining the strong bike pace while sharpening pacing in the other disciplines could help her return closer to last year's form.
