Strong Downhill Bike Surge Anchors a Steady Olympic-Distance Finish Jaden opened with a smooth 22:35 swim before a quick 3:59 transition into the bike leg, where he found real rhythm. A standout stretch clocked a blistering 2:57/mile paceabout 20 mphhelping drive an overall bike speed of roughly 17.6 mph across the 24.4-mile course. That bike leg was clearly the highlight of the day, moving him up significantly in the field before a crisp 3:46 T2. The run told a different story, starting strong at a 9:52 pace before gradually slipping past 11:00/mile in the closing miles. Tightening up that back half could yield a faster overall run split next time. Jaden crossed the line in 2:59:37, finishing 403rd among men and 29th in the competitive 25-29 age group out of nearly 2,000 athletesa solid result built on a genuinely impressive bike performance.
