Steady Pacing Fuels a Strong Olympic-Distance Finish Ali Bearnson completed the Olympic Triathlon in 3:23:03, finishing 209th among 209 female competitors and 29th in her 30-34 age division. Her swim set a solid foundation, and she carried that momentum into a strong bike leg, averaging roughly 15.9 mph over the course a pace that moved her up through the field before transitioning into the run. Her run splits stayed remarkably consistent, holding in the 12:3012:50 per mile range for most of the course before closing with a strong final stretch under 12:00 pace. Transitions were efficient, with T1 and T2 both completed in about five minutes or less. Overall, Bearnson's race showed balanced effort across all three disciplines, with the bike leg standing out as the highlight of her day.
