Powerful Bike Split Drives Solid Olympic Finish Carly Meyer turned in a strong all-around performance at this year's Olympic-distance race, highlighted by a bike leg that clocked in at roughly 16.3 mph, moving her up to 7th in her division through the halfway point of the ride. That bike strength helped offset a tougher swim split, where she sat mid-pack in her age group before methodically climbing positions through T1 and onto the course. Her overall time of 3:17:17 places her between her previous two Spudman finishes faster than her 2024 showing but a bit behind her strong 2025 result. The run proved steady if unspectacular, with splits gradually settling into the 11-minute range, closing out a well-rounded day that saw her finish 20th in the 40-44 age group. Consistent gains on the bike remain a clear strength worth building on.
