Consistent Pacing Highlights a Strong All-Around Olympic Effort Becky Hoffman turned in a well-balanced Olympic-distance performance, opening with a steady swim before transitioning quickly into the bike leg. On the bike, she averaged roughly 15.75 mph, with a standout mid-course stretch where her pace climbed above 17 mph, showing strong power and control through the races midsection before settling back down toward the final miles. Coming off a smooth second transition, Hoffman settled into a run pace that stayed close to 13:1514:30 per mile for the bulk of the course, though she saw a natural dip in the closing miles as fatigue set in. She finished in 3:41:41, capping off a race defined by a powerful bike segment and a resilient, evenly-managed run to the line.
