A Bike Surge Fuels a Solid Olympic-Distance Effort Bryan Bell completed the Olympic Triathlon in 2:57:22, finishing 444th overall out of 1,987, 372nd among men, and 29th in the 19-24 age division. After a 22:48 swim and a smooth 4:37 T1, Bryan found his rhythm on the bike, averaging roughly 17.2 mph over the 24.4-mile course. His standout moment came between miles 8.8 and 14.4, where he clocked a blistering 3:09/mile pacenearly 19 mphvaulting from 353rd to 150th overall and climbing to 11th in his division before easing back on the closing miles. Off the bike, a quick 3:41 T2 led into a 1:01:11 run. Bryan opened strong with an 8:23 first mile, then settled into the 9:3011:20/mile range as fatigue set in over the back half. He rallied for a fast final stretch, closing the last tenth of a mile at a 3:07 pace to cross the line with a strong finish.
