Bike Strength Powers Season-Best Olympic Finish Todd Call closed out his 2026 Spudman Olympic Triathlon in 3:14:43, marking his second-fastest showing across five appearances at this race and a clear rebound from his 3:29:27 finish in 2025. Racing among 1,987 finishers, he placed 780th overall and 620th in the mens field, continuing a pattern of steady, competitive efforts at this event since his debut in 2022. The bike leg was Todds clear strength this year, where he averaged roughly 16.3 mph and moved into the top 300 overall at one point during the ride before settling into the pack by the dismount. That bike surge set up a solid transition into the run, where he held position through the finish. With swim and run splits trailing his bike pace this year, sharpening those legs could help him chase down his 2023 personal best of 3:06:32 next season.
