Strong Bike Leg Powers a Steady Sprint Finish Kaylee Hatch completed her Sprint Triathlon in 1:56:20, highlighted by a bike leg where she averaged roughly 14.5 mph and climbed into the top 100 overall at one point during the ride. She used the fast Snake River current to post a solid swim, then built real momentum through the bike course, moving up more than 60 overall positions by the time she reached T2. The run proved to be the toughest stretch of her day, settling into a pace in the 12:3013:45 per mile range as fatigue set in during the back half. Focusing future training on run durability off the bike could help her carry more of that cycling strength through to the finish line. She closed out the race 212th overall out of 570 finishers and 30th in her division.
