Consistent Pacing Fuels a Strong Age-Group Bike Move Mindee turned in a well-rounded sprint effort, opening with a swim leg that put her mid-pack before a smooth T1. The bike leg was the highlight of her day averaging roughly 14.7 mph, she surged from 215th overall to 182nd by the time she hit mile 12, climbing 25 spots in her age division during that stretch alone. That aggressive bike push set her up for a solid transition into the run. On the run, Mindee settled into a steady rhythm, holding pace in the 10:0010:10/mile range through the middle miles before closing hard, dropping to a 3:50 pace in the final stretch to the finish. She crossed the line in 1:54:05, good for 12th in her 40-49 division. The bike was clearly her strongest asset building on that consistency, paired with continued run endurance work, could help her climb even further next time out.
