Steady Swim, Strong Bike Surge, and a Closing Kick Brynn Wade completed the 2026 Spudman Olympic Triathlon in 4:05:14, finishing 1347th overall and 388th among women. Her bike leg was a highlight, averaging roughly 13.3 mph over the 24.4-mile course. One standout stretch5.6 miles covered at a blazing 3:40/mile pacepushed her into the top 465 overall at that point, showing real strength on faster terrain. The run was more of a grind, with early miles settling around 14:0014:21 per mile before Brynn found a strong closing kick, dropping to a 5:46 pace over the final stretch to the finish. Transitions were solid, though T1 (9:25) ran a bit longer than T2 (4:23), suggesting a quicker changeover after the swim could help maintain the placement gains made on the bike.
