Consistent Bike Strength Anchors Another Solid Olympic Finish Neal Kondel completed the 2026 Spudman Olympic Triathlon in 2:44:39, finishing 229th overall and 25th in the Elite Men division. His swim came in at 23:13, followed by a strong bike leg of 1:16:05 translating to roughly 19.2 mph over the course where he climbed into the top 65 overall at one point during the ride. He capped things off with a 59:28 run split. This result lands closely in line with Neals Spudman history, nearly matching his 2:44:09 finish from 2022 and just off his personal best of 2:39:11 set in 2025. His bike leg continues to be his strongest asset, consistently pushing him into better overall positioning mid-race. Sharpening his run pace could help him close the gap to his 2025 performance and push toward a new personal best next time out.
