Podium Finish Fueled by a Blistering Bike Leg Matthew Duniphan capped a strong build over three Spudman appearances with a third-place overall finish and third among men, continuing his streak atop the U40 Clydesdale division. His 2:02:52 finish marks his fastest overall placement yet, a leap from 28th in 2023 and 17th in 2024, even as his total time stayed nearly identical to last year's effort. The bike leg was the standout of the daycovering the course at roughly 25 mph, good for the second-fastest split in the field. He backed that up with the quickest T2 of any athlete, hitting the run course in just 1:24. His 45:05 run, holding steady with consistent mile splits in the 7:20s, sealed a well-rounded, podium-worthy performance that showcased both speed and efficiency across every discipline.
