Steady Effort Highlighted by a Standout Bike Surge Kohl opened with a 32:20 swim, taking advantage of the Snake River's current before a 5:07 T1 that had some room to tighten up. On the bike, he covered the course in 1:34:55, averaging roughly 15.4 mph overall but the real highlight came during a 5.6-mile stretch where he surged to nearly 17.3 mph, a clear high point in his ride and a sign of strong power when the course allowed it. A quick 1:35 T2 got him onto the run smoothly. He completed the 10K in 1:13:31, holding a fairly consistent rhythm through the middle miles before closing with a strong final push, dropping under 10:30/mile pace in the last stretch. Overall, a well-rounded Olympic-distance effort with a bike segment that stood out as the day's strongest performance.
