Consistent Effort Across the Bike and a Strong Closing Kick Risa West completed her Olympic-distance race in 4:04:54. After a 38:09 swim, she moved through T1 in 10:42 and settled into a steady 1:45:03 bike leg, averaging roughly 13.9 mph overall. Within that ride, she posted a standout mid-course stretch of 5.6 miles at about 17.2 mph, showing a strong surge of power before easing back into a more moderate rhythm for the remainder of the ride. A 7:41 T2 led into a 1:23:20 run. She opened with an 11:48 first mile, dipped to a 16:02 pace mid-run, then rallied lateclosing the final quarter mile at a brisk 5:39 pace. That strong finish helped her come home 385th among women and 38th in the 40-44 division out of 1,987 total finishers.
