Bike Speed Fuels a Steady Olympic-Distance Finish Danielle Rodriguez turned in a well-rounded Olympic-distance performance, anchored by a strong ride that averaged roughly 16.3 mph over the bike leg. That effort moved her up significantly in the standings mid-race, climbing from 862nd overall after the swim to as high as 477th during the bike coursea clear sign of solid cycling fitness and pacing discipline. The run settled into a consistent rhythm, with mile splits hovering in the 11:3012:15 range for most of the leg, showing good endurance control after the bike effort. Transitions were efficient, with T1 and T2 combined under seven minutes. Rodriguez finished in 3:16:06, placing 163rd among women. Building a bit more speed off the swim start could help her carry even more momentum into the bike in future races.
