Age-Group Champion Delivers a Standout Olympic-Distance Performance Suzanne Martin capped off the Olympic Triathlon with a dominant showing, claiming first place in the Women's 65-69 division and finishing 22nd among all women and 151st overall out of 1,987 participants. Her steady pacing across the swim, bike, and run legs reflected strong overall fitness, with particularly efficient transitions that helped preserve her competitive position throughout the race. Compared to her 2023 Spudman finish, Suzanne shaved nearly 26 minutes off her overall time, improving from 3:05:02 to 2:39:22. This leap also moved her from 5th to 1st in her age division and from 222nd to 22nd among female finishers. Her bike segment stood out as a highlight, averaging over 21 mph, a clear sign of significant strength gains since her previous appearance at this race.
