Bike Strength Meets a Tough Run Finish Rylee Loock completed the 2026 Spudman Olympic Triathlon in 3:52:20, finishing 338th among 1987 women and 53rd in her 30-34 division. Her swim (25:52) and bike (1:46:21) legs were solid, but the overall time was about 35 minutes slower than her 2025 Spudman result of 3:17:51, dropping her from 270th to 338th in her gender category. On the bike, Rylee showed real power one late segment covered 10.2 miles in just 41:03, translating to nearly 15 mph, a highlight of her day. However, the run (1:28:11) slowed considerably in the back half, with several late splits near 14:0014:39 per mile. Sharpening run pacing off the bike, perhaps through brick training, could help her carry that cycling strength into a stronger finish next season.
