Strong Bike Split Anchors Steady All-Around Finish Joelle Holverson completed the Spudman Sprint Triathlon in 2:07:24, finishing 148th among 570 women. Her swim covered 0.61 miles in 21:39, followed by a quick 4:29 transition into the bike course. The bike leg stood out, with Joelle averaging roughly 15 mph over 13.17 miles, a pace that moved her up to 165th overall at one point during the ride. A snappy 2:16 second transition kept her momentum going into the run. The run leg covered just over 3 miles in 46:29, with pacing that eased in the later miles compared to her strong mid-race position. This race marks a shift from her 2022 Spudman appearance, where she completed the Olympic distance in 4:21:13. Returning to a shorter format, Joelle showed solid swim and bike execution continuing to build run consistency could be a good focus for future sprint-distance races.
