Strong Bike Leg Anchors a Well-Rounded Olympic Finish Sheena Sweeten completed the 2026 Spudman Olympic Triathlon in 2:55:09, finishing 65th among 1987 female competitors and 13th in her 35-39 division. Her race was built around a powerful bike leg, covering the course at roughly 16.5 mph and moving her up into the top 20% of the field by the bike dismounta clear strength to build around going forward. Compared to her 2025 Spudman result of 2:47:45, this year's time was about seven minutes slower, though she actually improved her overall and gender placement, finishing 394th overall versus 538th last year. Her swim (22:41) and transitions were efficient, while the run leg showed room to close the gap between her bike-leg pace and finishing pace, as she gradually settled from a strong start into a steadier rhythm over the final miles.
