Strong Bike Leg Powers a Solid Olympic-Distance Finish Isaac Stewart crossed the line in 2:57:16, finishing 441st overall out of 1,987 entrants in the Olympic Triathlon. This result was a step back from his two previous Spudman appearances a 2:37:16 in 2024 and a 2:48:02 in 2023 suggesting this outing was tougher than his recent form indicated. The bike leg stood out as his strongest segment, covering the course in 1:29:37 for an average speed of roughly 16.3 mph. His swim (21:51) and transitions (T1: 3:32, T2: 2:51) were efficient and consistent. The run, however, showed some fade over its final miles, closing in 59:28 with pacing that drifted from the 8:42/mile mark early on to over 10:00/mile by the final stretch. Sharpening run endurance late in the race could help him reclaim the pace he displayed in 2024.
