A Dominant Age-Group Title Defense Zane Morris turned in another strong showing at Spudman, finishing 20th overall out of nearly 2,000 athletes and claiming his second straight age-group title in the 60-64 division. His bike leg was the standout of the day, averaging roughly 22.8 mph and producing some of the fastest overall splits on courseincluding a top-five overall split during one stretchshowing he can still hang with the field's younger competitors. The swim and transitions were efficient, with a top-40 overall swim split and quick work in T1 and T2 that kept him well-positioned entering the run. His run pace held steady in the high-7:00s to low-8:00s per mile, capping off a well-rounded performance. While his time was a few minutes off his 2025 personal best at this race, he still improved his overall placement from 26th to 20th, continuing a streak of podium finishes in his division since 2023.
