Third-Place Finish Fueled by a Powerful Bike Leg Addy Sales delivered a strong all-around performance, finishing 3rd in her 20-29 age group and 17th among all women. Her bike leg was the standout segment, where she averaged nearly 16.9 mph, a pace that moved her steadily up the field and set the tone for the rest of the race. She carried that momentum into the run, where she consistently held positions inside the top 20 overall through the middle miles, showing solid strength off the bike. Transitions were efficient, and her swim placed her competitively within her age group early on. While her overall run pace dipped slightly in the closing miles compared to her strong mid-race surge, she still closed out with a well-earned podium finish. This race highlights a well-balanced set of disciplines, with the bike leg standing out as a particular strength to build from.
