Steady Effort Anchored by a Powerful Mid-Bike Surge Rebecca Daniels completed the Olympic Triathlon in 3:01:56, finishing 538th overall and 94th among female competitors in a field of nearly 2,000 athletes. Her bike leg stood out, averaging roughly 18.8 mph overall, highlighted by an impressive stretch near the midpoint where she surged to an estimated 21.6 mph, briefly climbing into the top 220 overall during that segment. This burst of speed showed strong power and confidence on the bike course. Her swim and run were both steady and well-paced, with the run showing consistent effort across the final miles.
