A Powerful Bike Leg Drives a Determined Finish Edward Anderson completed the 2026 Spudman Sprint Triathlon in 2:03:41, finishing 271st overall and 31st in the men's 30-39 division out of 570 participants. His swim came in at 20:28, followed by a T1 of 6:15. The bike leg was the highlight of his race 53:19 covering the course at roughly 14 mph, a pace strong enough to push him as high as 107th overall mid-ride before settling into the transition. T2 was quick at 2:30, leading into a 41:11 run split. Mile-by-mile data shows an early run pace near 12:27/mile that gradually eased to around 14:53/mile before Edward closed with a sharp final kick. The bike clearly stood out as his strongest discipline, and building some durability in the back half of the run could help him hold his pace deeper into the race next time out.
