Race Recap powered by Laurel Intelligence

Date: July 25, 2026 Participant: Adam Harper #7096 Race: 2026 Spudman Olympic Triathlon Event: Olympic Triathlon Weather: Hot, but otherwise a great day for a triathlon.

A Powerful Bike Leg Fuels a Well-Rounded Olympic Finish Adam Harper completed the Olympic Triathlon in 3:53:33, moving through a stacked field of nearly 2,000 athletes. His swim brought him out mid-pack, setting up a clean transition onto the bike course, where he truly shined. Averaging nearly 14 mph over the bike leg, Harper surged forward more than 100 positions during the ride a clear high point of his race and a sign of strong cycling fitness. Coming off the bike, Harper settled into a steady rhythm on the run, maintaining consistent effort through the final miles to the finish. While his run pace didnt match the intensity of his cycling split, it showed endurance and composure over the closing stretch. With his bike strength already established, dialing in more run-specific speed work could help him carry that same momentum off the bike and into the finish chute in future races.
