Consistent Effort Highlighted by a Standout Bike Surge Trent Bluth completed the Olympic-distance course in 3:18:53, moving efficiently through both transitions with a brisk 3:34 T1 and an even quicker 2:14 T2. His swim brought him out of the water in 26:19, setting up a bike leg where he found real rhythman especially strong stretch saw him average nearly 19 mph over a 16-mile segment, a clear highlight of the day. Overall, his bike split of 1:23:34 translated to roughly 17.5 mph, showing solid sustained power on two wheels. The run proved tougher, with his pace easing as the miles accumulated, finishing the run in 1:23:14. Compared to his 2024 Spudman finish of 2:45:54, this result came in slower, suggesting his focus for future training could center on building run durability to match the strength he showed on the bike.
