Steady Pacing and a Strong Finishing Kick Highlight Olympic Debut Performance Lindsay Egbert completed the 2026 Spudman Olympic Triathlon in 3:03:45, finishing 21st in the women's 35-39 division and 108th among 1,987 competitors. After a 25:18 swim through the Snake River's current, Lindsay moved into transition and onto the bike course, covering the ride at an average speed of roughly 16.3 mph a strong, consistent effort that helped her climb positions throughout the leg. The run proved to be a highlight of the day, showing a clear negative split as Lindsay's per-mile pace dropped from 9:09 to 8:05 by the final stretch. That late surge, especially the sub-8:00 pace over the last half-mile, reflects strong endurance and smart energy management. With a well-paced bike and a run that got faster as it progressed, Lindsay's race showed strong control and finishing strength a great foundation to build from for future events.
