Swim Speed Sets the Tone in a Solid Sprint Return Kelli Myers turned in a strong performance at the 2026 Spudman Sprint Triathlon, anchored by an excellent swim leg of 16:44 that placed her 65th overall and 4th in her 40-49 age group a clear highlight of her day. She carried solid momentum onto the bike course, averaging roughly 14.3 mph, before finishing out the race with a steady run to the line. Compared to her 2025 Spudman finish, this year's overall time came in a bit slower, with her overall and gender placements slipping slightly, though she held steady at 26th in her division both years. Her transition times, particularly T1 and T2, stand out as areas where trimming a bit of time could translate into meaningful gains. Overall, Myers continues to show dependable swim strength as a foundation to build on.
