Powerful Bike Leg Drives a Top-Five Age Group Finish Evelyn Myers turned in a well-rounded sprint triathlon performance, finishing 54th overall and 4th in the competitive 1-19 Sprint Female division out of a 570-athlete field. Her bike leg was the standout segment, covering the course at an average of roughly 17.4 mph and moving her up to 3rd in her division by T2 a strong surge from her 11th-place standing after the swim. She carried that momentum into the run, holding steady paces in the 9:5710:20 min/mile range for much of the course, even climbing as high as 2nd in her division mid-run before settling into her final placement. With a swim that kept her in touch with the front pack and a bike split that clearly set the tone, Evelyn's race showcased consistent execution across all three disciplines a promising foundation to build from as she looks to close the gap to the podium in future races.
