A Strong Bike Leg Anchors a Determined Olympic-Distance Finish Jason Heninger completed his 2026 Spudman Olympic Triathlon in 4:10:30, showing his most consistent performance on the bike. He maintained a steady pace across the bulk of the ride, averaging close to 11 mph, and even picked up significant speed during one stretch, surging to nearly 16 mpha clear sign of strong power and control on faster terrain. The swim and run were more uneven by comparison. His swim pace suggests theres value in continuing to build open-water speed and sighting efficiency, while his run showed a gradual pace decline over the final miles, dropping into the 1516 minute range.
