Strong Bike Leg Powers Steady Olympic-Distance Finish Jared Harris turned in a solid all-around performance, highlighted by a bike leg that averaged roughly 18.2 mph over the course a clear strength in his race and a big contributor to his overall time of 2:53:36. His swim and run were both efficient, with the run split showing consistent pacing across the out-and-back finish, and his transitions were quick apart from a slightly longer T1. Compared to his 2024 Spudman finish (2:49:46), Jared's overall time slipped slightly, but his results tell a more nuanced story: he moved into a new age division and still finished 57th in the 35-39 group, an improvement in relative standing from his 82nd-place finish in the 30-34 group two years prior. This suggests strong continued fitness and competitiveness, even as his outright time dipped slightly.
