Date: July 25, 2026 Participant: Summer Hogge #3130 Race: 2026 Spudman Olympic Triathlon Event: Olympic Triathlon Weather: Hot, but otherwise a great day for a triathlon.

Powerful Bike Leg Fuels a Well-Rounded Olympic Finish Summer Hogge turned in a strong all-around performance at the 2026 Spudman Olympic Triathlon, anchored by a bike leg that averaged roughly 15.3 mph over rolling terrain a clear strength in her race. She followed that with a steady run, holding consistent mile splits in the 8:30s down the stretch, a sign of solid aerobic durability after the bike effort. Her swim was efficient and set her up well for a smooth T1 transition. Compared to her 2025 Spudman finish (2:48:06), this year's 3:01:02 was a bit slower overall, suggesting there may be opportunity to sharpen swim and transition efficiency to recapture that faster pace. Still, the bike split stands out as a season highlight, and her ability to close strong on the run shows good race management and fitness heading into future events.
