Late Run Surge Fuels a Solid Sprint Finish Baylee Hogge opened her Spudman Sprint Triathlon with a steady 19:40 swim before transitioning in 5:25. On the bike, she covered the course at roughly 14.5 mph, showing consistent power through the middle miles before easing into a smooth 2:57 second transition. The run proved to be Baylee's strongest asset, as she steadily climbed the standings from 147th to 104th overall during the final miles, settling in with a pace close to 8:11 per mile. That surge helped her finish 112th overall out of 570 athletes, 43rd among women, and 10th in the competitive 20-29 age division a strong showing built on a well-paced run leg that made up significant ground late in the race.
