Strong Bike Split Fuels Steady Sprint Finish Brandon Lloyd turned in a solid all-around sprint triathlon performance, highlighted by a bike leg where he averaged roughly 15.6 mph, moving him up into the top 200 overall by the time he hit T2. His swim and transitions were consistent with his overall pace, keeping him well-positioned entering the run. On the run, Brandon showed a notable surge around the 14.8-mile mark, posting the 3rd-fastest split in his 40-49 age group at that point a clear sign of strong closing speed. He ultimately finished 19th in his division and 111th among men. Compared to his 2025 Spudman result, his overall time was about four minutes slower this year, suggesting an opportunity to refine pacing across the bike-to-run transition to recapture that previous efficiency.
