Strong Bike Leg Powers a Solid Olympic-Distance Finish Aaron Chamberlain turned in a well-rounded Olympic-distance performance, highlighted by a standout bike segment. Covering the bike course at roughly 17.9 mph, he made major gains, climbing from 924th to 339th in his gender division by the end of the ride one of the most significant positional jumps of the day. This strength carried into a steady T2 and run, where he maintained his position among the top 350 men through the finish. The swim was the one area with room to sharpen, as it was his slowest relative segment of the race. Given how much ground he made up on the bike afterward, a quicker swim exit could set him up for an even stronger overall result. Finishing in 2:56:31, Chamberlain placed 349th out of 987 men and 17th in the Non-Competitive division a race defined by a bike leg well worth building on.
