A Steady Push Through the Bike Leg Highlights a Solid Olympic Finish Sydney Baker completed her first Olympic-distance Spudman in 4:03:03, moving up from last year's sprint finish. She exited the water in 29:41 before tackling a bike leg that averaged roughly 13 mph over the course, closing in 1:52:16. A standout stretch came around the mile 14 mark, where a strong push briefly lifted her into the top 500 overallher best positioning of the day. Transitions were efficient, with a quick 3:59 through T2, setting up a 1:30:27 run to close things out. Building on last year's sprint-distance race, this step up to Olympic distance shows solid endurance across all three disciplines. Continued work on holding bike intensity through the back half could help sustain those mid-race surges all the way to the finish.
