Strong Swim Start Fuels a Bike Surge Before Late-Race Fade Jennifer opened with a swift 21:43 swim, good for 5th in her 50-54 age group, and moved through transitions efficiently. On the bike, she found her rhythm mid-course, ripping through a 10.2-mile stretch at roughly 16 mph before settling into an overall bike average near 14 mph across the 24-plus mile ride. The run proved more challenging, with per-mile pace climbing from 12:19 early to the 14-15 minute range by the final miles, signaling fatigue after a strong bike effort. She finished 13th in her division and 301st among women. Compared to her 2025 Spudman finish of 2:55:59 in the non-competitive division, this year's competitive field brought a tougher test building late-run durability could help close the gap between her strong bike surge and final finishing time.
