Strong Bike Legs, Fading Run Finish Decker Geddes crossed the line at the 2026 Spudman Olympic Triathlon in 2:56:43, good for 423rd overall, 354th among men, and 40th in the competitive 40-44 age group. His swim came in at 22:57, followed by a bike leg of 1:18:24 an average of roughly 18.7 mph before closing with a 1:08:21 run. This result trails his previous two Spudman outings, notably his 2025 breakthrough of 2:26:33 (137th overall) and his 2024 finish of 2:38:30. The bike was a highlight, with mid-ride splits dipping to a brisk 2:583:00 min/mile pace before settling in for the finish. The run told a different story an encouraging 9:32 mile early on gradually slowed to nearly 13:48 by mile 31, pointing to fatigue management as a key area to sharpen heading into future races.
