She placed 5th in her 60-69 age division and 221st among 570 women, showing steady progress each season. Her swim was efficient and controlled, setting up a solid bike leg where she averaged roughly 10.6 mph over the 12.45-mile course, a segment that moved her up significantly in the overall field. The run proved to be the most challenging portion of her race, with pacing dropping off in the second half.
