Powerful Bike Leg Anchors a Well-Balanced Olympic Debut Jeffrey Pyne turned in a strong overall performance at the 2026 Spudman Olympic Triathlon, finishing in 2:41:51. His swim was a highlight, covering the current-aided Snake River course in 19:35 and landing him in the top 10% of the field exiting the water. Transitions were crisp, with a quick 4:02 in T1 and just 2:02 in T2, showing efficient race-day execution. The bike leg stood out as his strongest segment, averaging roughly 18.6 mph over the 24-plus mile course, a pace that moved him steadily through the field. His run settled into a consistent rhythm around 9:159:40 per mile, holding form well through the final miles. Across all three disciplines, Jeffrey showed balanced fitness and smooth execution, finishing 194th overall and 21st in his competitive 30-34 age group.
