Steady Effort Highlighted by a Strong Ride on the Bike Course At just 14 years old, Isaac Wallis took on the Olympic-distance course in Bozeman colors, finishing in 3:47:32 among a field of nearly 2,000 athletes. He placed 114th in the Non-Competitive division and 889th among men overall, showing solid endurance across all three disciplines for an athlete his age tackling this distance. The bike leg was Isaacs standout segment, where he averaged roughly 13.2 mph over the course. Within that ride, he found another gear on a downhill stretch, clocking splits as fast as 3:34 per milea clear high point in his race. T1 stretched to 11:24, noticeably longer than his other transition, and tightening that changeover could shave meaningful time off his overall result. The run settled into a consistent rhythm in the 1112 minute mile range, capping off a well-rounded effort from swim to finish.
