Consistent Division Finish Despite a Slower Overall Day Randy completed the Olympic-distance race in 4:08:41, finishing 28th in the men's 60-64 divisionmatching his division placement from three of the last four years at Spudman, even as his overall time was his slowest since 2022. His swim and run legs remained steady, echoing the pacing patterns seen in prior editions of this race. The bike leg told an interesting story: after opening around 1112 mph through the first several miles, Randy surged to nearly 15.8 mph over the middle stretch, a clear jump in power and rhythm. Closing miles held strong near that same pace before settling into the run. Tightening up that early bike segment could help him carry more momentum into the back half and shave time off future results.
