Steady Multisport Performance Highlighted by a Strong Bike Leg Sean Sevy finished the 2026 Spudman Olympic Triathlon in 2:33:52, placing 100th overall out of 1,987 athletes and 14th in the competitive 35-39 age group. While slightly slower than his personal-best 2:25:32 finish in 2025, this result continues a pattern of consistently strong performances at Spudman, sitting well ahead of his 2022 and earlier efforts. The bike leg stood out, covering the course at an estimated 19.1 mph, a strong showing that moved him up into the top 40 overall at multiple points along the ride. Transitions were sharp as well, with a 2:38 T1 and an efficient 1:48 T2, both ranking in the top 15% of the field. The swim (19:45) and run (53:09) rounded out a well-balanced effort, with the run settling into a steady 8:30s/mile rhythm over the final miles. Overall, a well-executed race with the bike as the clear highlight.
